Chimur Tiger Resort at Kolara,Tadoba

Chimur Tiger Resort is a perfect place for both group of friends as well as families. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The place also has a nice swimming pool where one can relax, there are multiple indoor game options as well such as table tennis and carrom. The food here was really delicious, the place serves both veg as well as non veg options.

Very good Resort, rooms are spacious with a Balcony. Bathroom is like a cricket ground with separate dressing area. Hospitality is very good and Chaya ji was very friendly, hotel staff were very polite and respond quickly for any requests. We stayed for 3 days and booked resort with food. Location to reach the Resort is little challenging with small roads.

I must say that this resort exceeded my expectations. I was there with family and friends for a 3 days 4 nights trip. The ambience is great however, the highlight was the quick and efficient service which I found to be exceptional. Food was incldued in my stay which was served as buffet across all meals. Lunch and dinner meals were good with decent variety to choose from however, the evening and morning tea/coffee and snacks lacked the same taste and variety. They have plenty of space and activities for kids to indulge and the pool was the main attraction. Overall a great place to visit for a quiet family time and ofcourse to experience the mighty Tadoba and it's safaris.

We visited the resort in the month of Dec-2023 for year end break. Resort is located in a nice location but there are so many not so good experiences for us. Checkin process was smooth. The room was good spacious with nice balcony, but bathroom stunk like anything. The geyser was constantly dysfunctional. As we were travelling with kids with some allergies, we requested for custom food which they obliged but did not do justice (instructions were not followed in full). Room service is pathetic. Inspite of calling several times the room was not attended. The owner helped us to get a safari ride in a short notice, but staff aren't trained properly. We took along our car driver. There is no separate driver lounge, but they agreed to have him accommodated in staff quarter. But, the staff room is horribly unhygienic, so the driver slept in the car. They did not give a blanket to the driver despite request. Coming to the food, it was always late by 30 mins than quoted time. Food is ok, some dished were good but majority of the items are full of oils. All in all, there are a lot of things to be improved.

We were a group of eight people all out to explore the tigers of central India. This has been our part of life since we live amidst the forest. The place to stay was the most important after we selected Tadoba as the destination. We looked up at many places and found Chimur Tiger reserve (near Kolara gate) as an ideal resort to stay. From the reservation two months before the date and till the checkout we had a great experience. The booking was done by Mr.Atul who guided us with the do’s and don’s on each and every step as well as the Safari booking. Since we are far away from Tadoba it was a great information for us to plan our journey. After reaching the resort, we had a great time with the rooms and the other amenities which include a bonfire, park walkway, swimming pool and indoor sports activity. The cycling especially the couple cycling. For the early morning Safari food was packed in a nice container and we had fun time like a picnic. While luck favoured us to spot a tiger the breakfast in the middle of the jungle made it a lifetime experience. The menu was short and simple-however Food was amazing. We need to call out here the services of of the chef Sooraj. We had multiple requests to him since we had a toddler and he was accommodative of those. A great thanks to Chaya and Ashutosh, who manage the day-to-day operations of the Resort. We would definitely recommend this to those who are with the family and want to stay at a quiet and scenic place and go and look out for tigers.

Very nice n beautiful resort....we r with our family n it's just superb experience to stay here...food is awesome..rooms are neat n clean ...n service is so quick...every thing is nice n perfect..thanku all the team of Chimur Tiger Resort for making our Tadoba trip more memorable....Thank you Chaaya madam for your warm Hospitality.
